The 3 Step Breathing Space – guided by Helen O’Neill

The 3 Step Breathing Space is a brief meditation practice that invites you to take a pause in the midst of life and tune into your present moment experience (i.e. thoughts, emotions and body sensations). Allowing your experience to be as it is without needing to fix or alter it, and anchoring the attention on the breath before expanding awareness to include the whole body and the wider environment. It is often referred to as a mini meditation and is useful to practice when facing difficulty.

Lifelong learning

I’m feeling very inspired following a Masterclass in Teaching Mindfulness in Non-Clinical Settings at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, and eager to share this learning with participants on the Finding Peace in a Frantic World course, starting on 26th September in Ranelagh. There are some places available, details on homepage.
